FINAL DAY IN JAPAN!

Ahh~!
My final day in Jaapppaaannn!

Yesterday I took it real slow - basically did nothing but watched A Walk to Remember, be on the internet, and pack. It was nice to have a slow day though.

Which brings my aruptly to my final day in Jaaapppan!

I woke up at around 9 AM this morning!
(Very important information)

At a breakfast of bread where Okaasan started to cry because I was leaving. It was really touching.

Then okaasan went out for an hour so I got on the computer!

And then when she came back we went for a walk with Choco and Tiro.

And then I tried reading Japanese children books.

And then I went to meet up with Sayo to go to the zooo!!

But first a picture of my suitcase packed to the brim!

Giraffe!

The zoo`s mascot?

A good pose never hurt anyone!

ASLAN!

TWINS!

Yeah...they were all tired. But I took like fifty million pictures of them. So I will put them on facebook later.

Sayo loves Polar Bears.

Okaasan polar bear!

Otoosan polar bear!
He was born in Ohio! Nakama!
What is the animal called again?

Oh yes! A Penguim!

View from the ferris wheel.

This is aparently a famous character from a children`s TV show!

Saru!

Lesser Panda!

:D!

And then we went and got shaved iiccceee.

This is delicious green tea ice with a mountain of anko underneath it.

Okaasan preparing dinner!
We had crab! Obviously!
Also some delicious rice that is eaten only on special occasions or something like that.

And so!
I am going to bed now!
For the first time since being in Japan I am going to shower in the morning!
It will be marvelous! (But even better if I had American shampoo and a straightner!)

Here is to long time travel and a happy return!
I will miss my host family and friends I have made in Japan.
I will probably post one last time once I am hoooome.

I hope you have enjoyed my Japan adventures just as much as I have!

ありがとうございました!

なまら!(Hokkaido dialect!)

So...where did I leave off my last post?

Friday morning I took it easy - slept in, got on the computer, watched RENT - it was nice.
Friday afternoon - we went shopping! :D Okayy - well, not hardcore shopping. But a little bit. I bought a shirt! And basically finished up my souvenior shopping! (Though I did buy some more souveniors for people todaayy. BUT still. I thought I was finishing up my souvenior shopping.) Oh and pens! I <3 pens.

Anyway - we had delicious okonomiyaki for dinner again! (though I leave the mannoyaise off. Yuck.)

And then Sayo and I set to a craft we bought at the mall/store...

Yes. These are erasers! Yes. We made them!

YES! They are donuts!

And then yestercday I was supposed to meet up with Kate at Mister Donuts and then head over to Christina`s house by train...but there was a mix up in times of meeting and yeah...So Kate`s host parents drove us over to Christina`s host family`s house for some delicious yakitori!

Kohaku - really! I cannot describe how cute she is!

All of us over Christina`s! Well - a picture of a picture of all of us over there. And the girl next to Christina is her host sister. Her host father is from Peru!

Yummmmmy!

Christina loves corn. And that is an understatement. Someday we are going to walk through a cornfield together. It will be marvelous!

How much I ate! Not too bad...

But I actually ate this much. Because all Americans are fat.
(...just kidding!)

Really. Her cuteness is on the same level with Kohaku! But as Tove kept saying - she`s a big girl! KAWAIIIII! But you know - she will win in the end. When we are all 40 and old looking she will still look 20.

Christina! Crazy Canadian.

Cheesecake!

Apple pie! (As made by Kate)

Onigiri
After thoroughly stuffing our faces we went to karaoke!

Really. So cute.

And then I had a little problem getting home in time for my curfew...
and it turned into an impromptu sleepover! Kate too.

Christina`s home.
Since it was impromptu we didn`t have any pajamas. And since Christina has two host brothers...

jThis is me in a jinbei - a male yukata. Yes. Only guys were these. I am so cool, right?
Ikemen yo!

Yay! Sleep time!

And oh - I got to use a straightner over Christina`s. (See early post: WANT MY STRAIGHTNER!)
It was pure amazing hair heaven.

Me amazingly happy in all my straight hair glory.
Okay! And then Kate came home with me where shortly after we headed back out with my host family!
First stop - hirugohan! (lunch)

The second thing of ramen I have eaten here in Japan. This was shrimp wonton. Salt flavor. SOOOO GOOOD!

Ramen resturaunt.

Second stop! Chocolate factory that looked more like a castle!

I<3Abe.

Don`t mess with us. We mean business.

Bethoven is like my bff!

In Japan foreigners are as big as the houses!

This is a...chocolate factory!?

Me showing off my camera`s skills.

A stroll through a garden!

Yummy icecream!

There was quite the elaborate show when the clock struck the new hour!
This was at 2 PM - so all you people in Ohio where probably sleeping! (1 AM!)

And then we went shopping in Otaru which is particulary famous for it`s glass!
But I was more concerned with...

DANPA! Maybe you remember from one of my first picture posts the adorable reversed panda - DANPA! Yes. <3
And shortly after that! Returning home!

ISN`T CHOCO ADORABLE!?!?

I am really not one hundred percent sure...
But I think my okaasan grew this.

Miho, my other host sister, came over for dinner.
This is just everybody right before I asked to use the computer! And so now...
3 days left! and pretty soon it will only be two days left!
I am not sure what my scheldue is tomorrow except that I am going to start to pack. And then Tuesday I know I am hanging out with Sayo in the afternoon...
And then I leave late Wednesday morning/early afternoon!
Ahh! So much travel ahead of me!
Tove and Christina though leave on Tuesday! So these were my last pictures with them! Ahh! So sad! I <3 you guys! Even if you do think all Americans are fat!

And so! Off to end another day!
I hope everyone else has a good Sunday morning!
