My final day in Jaapppaaannn!
Yesterday I took it real slow - basically did nothing but watched A Walk to Remember, be on the internet, and pack. It was nice to have a slow day though.
Which brings my aruptly to my final day in Jaaapppan!
I woke up at around 9 AM this morning!
(Very important information)
(Very important information)
At a breakfast of bread where Okaasan started to cry because I was leaving. It was really touching.
Then okaasan went out for an hour so I got on the computer!
And then when she came back we went for a walk with Choco and Tiro.
And then I tried reading Japanese children books.
And then I went to meet up with Sayo to go to the zooo!!
But first a picture of my suitcase packed to the brim!
The zoo`s mascot?
A good pose never hurt anyone!
ASLAN!
Yeah...they were all tired. But I took like fifty million pictures of them. So I will put them on facebook later.
Sayo loves Polar Bears.
He was born in Ohio! Nakama!
What is the animal called again?
Oh yes! A Penguim!
This is aparently a famous character from a children`s TV show!
Saru!
Lesser Panda!
This is delicious green tea ice with a mountain of anko underneath it.
We had crab! Obviously!
Also some delicious rice that is eaten only on special occasions or something like that.
And so!
And so!
I am going to bed now!
For the first time since being in Japan I am going to shower in the morning!
It will be marvelous! (But even better if I had American shampoo and a straightner!)
Here is to long time travel and a happy return!

I will miss my host family and friends I have made in Japan.
I will probably post one last time once I am hoooome.
I hope you have enjoyed my Japan adventures just as much as I have!
ありがとうございました!

Ohhh Allison - lots of cute pictures, lots of laughs - I put the one of you pointing (like the zoo sign) on my wallpaper, and then came across the one in the raccoon cut-out (or whatever it is) - and just had to update it again; and penguims! Too funny! I'm sure the "special occasion" rice ws for you. Some day I'd love to meet your Okaasan and Otoosan, along with Sayo and Miho.
ReplyDeleteAllie, I loved following your Japan adventures!! I can't wait to meet up and see ALL of your awesome pictures and stuff! Yay for coming home!
